Get Ready for Romance: Quiver & Briarcliff Entertainment Unveils Winter Release of ‘When I’m Ready’ Starring Andrew Ortenberg & June Schreiner – Watch the Thrilling Trailer!

Exciting News: Quiver Distribution has secured the North American distribution rights for the romantic thriller When I’m Ready. This film features a talented cast, including Andrew Ortenberg, June Schreiner, Thalia Besson, Lauren Cohan, and Dermot Mulroney.

The movie will hit theaters on February 7, 2025, followed by a digital release on February 14. Quiver will also manage the home entertainment distribution.

Directed by Andrew Johnson, When I’m Ready tells the story of a young couple, Rose and Michael, embarking on a road trip across the country during the final days before a catastrophic event. As asteroids loom, threatening all life on Earth, they travel to see Rose’s grandmother one last time. Throughout their journey, they meet various individuals, each searching for meaning as the world faces its end.

This project is a collaboration between Briarcliff Entertainment and 19th Hole Productions.

Lauren Cohan portrays Julia, a former beauty queen hoping to find love in her final moments with her daughter, Apryl. Cohan is known for her decade-long role on The Walking Dead and currently leads the spinoff series The Walking Dead: Dead City. This marks her first film appearance since 2018’s Mile 22.

Dermot Mulroney plays Keith, a lone drifter scavenging for survival and seeking connection. He has appeared in popular films like Scream VI and Anyone But You.

Thalia Besson stars as Michelle, the leader of a group of young party-goers headed to an end-of-the-world rave. Besson is known for her role in the latest season of Emily in Paris and is the daughter of filmmaker Luc Besson.

Additionally, Bryan Curtis from The Ringer provides the voice of a radio DJ, keeping listeners updated on the asteroid threat as time runs out.

The film is produced by Ortenberg, Eli Samek, Jordan Dykstra, Robert Ballo, and Tom Ortenberg, with executive producers including Clay Pecorin and Ellen Wander. The production was handled by 19th Hole, with Quiver and Briarcliff collaborating for domestic distribution. FilmBridge International is managing international sales.

Quiver Distribution’s Larry Greenberg and TJ Smith negotiated the rights deal, while Jordan Dysktra represented the filmmakers.

Andrew Ortenberg expressed excitement about the project, saying, “We’re eager to share When I’m Ready with audiences. We aimed to create a unique end-of-the-world film and look forward to its release.”

This project also marks a reunion between Quiver CEO Jeff Sackman and Briarcliff CEO Tom Ortenberg, who previously collaborated in the late ’90s at Lionsgate.

Quiver Co-Presidents Berry Meyerowitz and Jeff Sackman shared their enthusiasm for the partnership, looking forward to working with Ortenberg and Johnson in the future.
