Washington Men’s Golf Heads to Portland for Big Ten Championship

The Washington men’s golf team is gearing up for the Big Ten Championship this weekend in Portland. The tournament will be held at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course, starting Friday and wrapping up Sunday.

Play kicks off at 9:30 a.m. PT on Friday, with teams tackling 18 holes each day on a par 72 course. For those excited to follow along, Sunday’s final round will be showcased on the Big Ten Network at 2:30 p.m. PT. You can also keep up with live scores on Clippd.

The Huskies will compete alongside other strong teams, including No. 12 Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, UCLA, and USC. They will tee off with Purdue and Northwestern starting at hole No. 10.

This season, four Huskies—Emil Herstad, Jacob Goode, Finn Koelle, and Grady Millar—have maintained impressive scoring averages under 73.0. They’ve collectively earned five Top 10 finishes and logged an impressive 35 out of 51 rounds under par. Jack Murphy has contributed additional rounds, bringing experience to the team.
