Apple is getting ready for the March launch of its new MacBook Air models. These will be available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, both powered by the new M4 chip, says Mark Gurman from Bloomberg.

Gurman also shared in his latest newsletter that stores are reducing their current MacBook Air inventory. This is a common sign that a new model is on the way. Although there were earlier rumors of other launches, it seems the M4 MacBook Air will be a key focus for this month.

Last week, Gurman said Apple plans to start selling the new models by March. He’s confident they’ll definitely arrive next month, though it’s not clear whether they’ll debut in the first half or later in March.

Just over a week ago, he mentioned these models would launch “within weeks.” While he seems sure about March, the specific dates are still unknown.

The existence of the M4 MacBook Air was hinted at in December with a software update that revealed references to the new models, including “MacBook Air (13-inch, M4, 2025)” and “MacBook Air (15-inch, M4, 2025).”
