If there’s anyone who can keep the vinyl craze alive in 2025, it’s the dedicated fans of Monsters. Lady Gaga is getting ready to drop her seventh studio album titled “Mayhem” on March 7. She’s already offering physical copies of the album, including limited-edition vinyl, CDs, and cassettes, all featuring unique cover art.
Gaga recently unveiled the single “Abracadabra” during the 2025 Grammys. She used the moment to reveal the album’s release date and later shared the full tracklist. The album will include hits like “Disease,” “Abracadabra,” and “Die With A Smile,” which features Bruno Mars.
In her own words, Gaga described the creative process for this album as “reassembling a shattered mirror.” She highlighted facing the fear of returning to her pop roots while still trying to create something beautiful and original. The album features 14 tracks and was co-produced by Gaga, Michael Polansky, and Andrew Watt, along with other talented producers.
One standout item from the collection is a limited-edition vinyl available exclusively at Urban Outfitters. The two-disc LP has eye-catching opaque hot pink records and includes a fold-out poster of Gaga. Following the release of “Abracadabra,” Variety writer Daniel D’addario suggested that this single has the potential to rejuvenate her pop career. Describing the single, he remarked, “when she wants, she can take her imagination to the limits of sense, and keep us along for the ride.”
“Mayhem” promises to be an exciting addition to Gaga’s discography, bringing together her pop sensibilities and artistic vision.
