Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahujawho is thought for her outspoken and candid talks, lately opened up about her unconventional relationship with her husband. Given her daring persona, Sunita shared amusing particulars about their bond throughout an interview with Hauterrfly. She was joined by their daughter, Tina Ahujafor the dialog.
When requested about her equation with Govinda, Sunita revealed that their relationship doesn’t match the everyday husband-wife mildew. She mentioned, “Even today it doesn’t feel like we are husband-wife. (Even today, I don’t feel that we’re man and wife).” She added that she casually addresses Govinda as ‘abeey,’ and he responds in the same way. “Galiya galoch chalti hai humari. (We use abusive language with each other),” she humorously admitted.
Their playful and candid relationship usually makes Sunita query whether or not Govinda is really her husband. “I still don’t believe that you are my friend. (I still can’t believe you’re my husband.),” she joked.
In an earlier look on the Time Out with Ankit podcast, Sunita shared an anecdote about adapting to her husband’s household’s preferences. She recalled transitioning from miniskirts to sarees as a result of Govinda felt his mom could be extra comfy seeing her in conventional apparel.
“My mother will not sleep…I said that wearing these sarees will make a difference. By hook or by crook patana to tha (He would tell me that my mother won’t like it. I was like, okay, I will wear saree, and it won’t make any difference. I wanted to woo him at any cost ),” she reminisced.
On December 21, Govinda celebrated his 61st birthday and was seen distributing sweets to his followers gathered exterior his home and even interacted with them.
Meanwhile, in October, Govinda was rushed to a Mumbai hospital after by accident taking pictures himself within the leg. The incident reportedly befell early within the morning, between 4:45 and 5:00 AM, whereas the actor was making ready to journey to Kolkata. At the time, he was alone in his residence.
After being discharged, Govinda addressed the media concerning the mishap, explaining, “I was getting ready to leave for a show in Kolkata. It was around 4:45-5:00 AM when the revolver fell and misfired. I felt a jhatka (shock) and then noticed… there was a fountain (of blood).”
