Take the story of Cheddarton, for example. He’s a Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever mix who once went on an adventure. While out for dinner with his family, he ended up joining another family for some chips and queso. Why did he choose them? Maybe it was the snacks!

Cheddarton, or “Cheddar” for short, was rescued at just 11 weeks old. He lives with two other Great Pyrenees and has a full house, including a cat, guinea pig, and horse. Despite all that love at home, he couldn’t resist the allure of tasty treats from strangers.

When Cheddarton’s new “parents” offered him a snack, they made sure it was safe. While chips and queso aren’t typical dog food, a little non-spicy queso is generally fine in small amounts. It’s always good to check with the owner first before sharing food.
