Indian billionaire Niranjan Hiranandani hosted a dinner for Prince Edward during his recent visit to India. Prince Edward, the youngest brother of King Charles III, came to Mumbai to strengthen the ties between India and the UK. This is significant as it’s the first royal visit to India since King Charles’s trip in 2019.

Hiranandani shared moments from the dinner on Instagram, expressing his honor to host discussions with notable leaders. It was a night dedicated to sharing ideas and insights.

During his stay, Prince Edward also met with the Governor of Maharashtra at Raj Bhavan. His visit focuses on promoting the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. This program was established by his late father, Prince Philip, in 1956 and aims to support youth development.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, known as The International Award for Young People in India, encourages young individuals to explore their interests and goals. Since its start in India in 1962, it has benefited over 150,000 students across 325 schools and institutions.

This visit highlights the ongoing collaboration between India and the UK, showcasing shared values and opportunities for the youth.
