Microsoft may raise Xbox console prices again soon. They already bumped prices twice this year—in May and again in September for U.S. gamers. Reports suggest that global RAM shortages might force another increase.

According to Moore’s Law is Dead via TGP, Microsoft has informed partners about rising costs and limited RAM supply. This shortage is mainly due to AI data centers buying memory in bulk, leaving less for consumer electronics.

Additionally, Microsoft just increased the price of Xbox Game Pass. The Ultimate subscription will now cost $29.99 per month in the U.S. This plan includes access to over 75 new releases each year, Fortnite Crew, and Ubisoft+ Classics. The cloud gaming experience is also set to improve, along with a new rewards program.
