A driver in North Carolina recently experienced a bizarre event when a bald eagle dropped a cat through her car’s windshield. This unusual incident took place around 8:15 a.m. on U.S. Route 74 in Swain County. Thankfully, the driver emerged unscathed.
According to the Highway Patrol, the windshield suffered a significant blow, leaving a substantial hole. A photo shared by officials illustrated the damage, which was no doubt shocking for the driver.
In a 911 call, the woman recounted the moment, saying, “OK, you may not believe me, but I just had a bald eagle drop a cat through my windshield. It absolutely shattered my windshield.” She also noted that a witness was present to validate her outlandish story.
