The Town of Avon has exciting news for food lovers: it’s now accepting applications for its 2025 Food Truck Program!
This program is a great chance for food vendors to showcase their offerings at several locations around town. These spots include areas near Avon Town Hall, Harry A. Nottingham Park, and popular sites like Lake Street, Nottingham Beach, and the Main Street Pedestrian Mall. Vendors can operate from May 23 until September 28, 2025, making it a perfect summer opportunity.
The goal of the Food Truck Vendor program is to support small businesses, enhance the vibrant atmosphere of Nottingham Park, and give residents and visitors tasty food options. Avon is looking for food trucks that offer high-quality meals in clean and inviting settings. It’s all about making the experience enjoyable for everyone.
Danita Dempsey, Avon’s Chief Cultural Officer, shared that the program has added a new location at the Main Street Pedestrian Mall. This area is perfect for smaller carts serving snacks like coffee, ice cream, and popcorn. “We want vendors who bring creative and unique food items that fit the lively vibe of our community,” she said.
