According to a recent survey by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), nearly 60% of sonographers report feeling overwhelmed at work. Conferences like this one not only provide valuable education but also address these feelings with sessions focused on professional wellness. Networking opportunities can also help combat feelings of isolation within the field.
This year’s conference is especially timely, as advancements in sonography and AI continue to reshape the field. As mentioned by Dr. Elfarra, understanding new technologies can dramatically improve diagnostic accuracy, making events like this essential for ongoing professional growth.
