The Hopkinton Public Library Foundation’s Touch-A-Truck and Food Truck Festival is set to return on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hopkinton High School Parking Lot. This beloved event offers something for everyone!
Kids and adults alike can explore dozens of vehicles. From construction rigs to emergency trucks, there will be around 50 vehicles on display, including those from local businesses and the town itself. Look out for trucks from companies like American Climbers, Art’s Towing, and Scott’s Septic, as well as the Hopkinton Police and Fire Departments. A trackless train from Roaming Railroad will also be there, adding to the fun.
This year, UniBank continues as the lead sponsor, showing strong community support for the festival. Phipps Insurance Agency is back as a key sponsor, along with Sunshine Preschool and Goldfish Swim School-Milford, who will be hosting booths to engage with attendees.
When it comes to food, expect an exciting array of trucks offering everything from pizza to BBQ. Whether you’re looking for gluten-free or vegetarian options, there’s something for every palate. Trucks like Cousins Maine Lobster and Uhlman’s Ice Cream will be ready to serve delicious meals and treats.
Admission tickets are priced at $8 for adults and $5 for kids, with children under one getting in for free. You can pre-purchase tickets starting May 1 at the event’s website. Note that food and train rides are separate from the admission fee.
Parking will be available at nearby schools, with free shuttles running to the main entrance. For safety, please leave pets at home, as they aren’t allowed on school grounds.
Last year, the event attracted over 2,000 attendees and raised more than $15,000 for library programs, demonstrating its value to the community. Funds are used for innovative programs, including gaming for teens and children’s music classes.
The Hopkinton Public Library Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to enhancing library resources and technology. Support from events like this helps cover the gap in funding and ensures quality programs continue for all ages.
