Join Us for the Exciting Eat Halal MKE Suhoor Food Truck Fest

Mark your calendars for the second Suhoor Food Truck Fest in Milwaukee! This exciting event will take place on Saturday, March 15, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the ISM Community Center, located at 815 W. Layton Ave.

This family-friendly festival is a great way for everyone to come together for suhoor, the pre-dawn meal during Ramadan. Last year, the inaugural fest drew over 1,000 people from Milwaukee, Madison, and Chicago. It’s a wonderful opportunity to foster community spirit during this special month, which runs from March 10 to April 9 this year.

Expect a tasty selection from various food vendors. There will be everything from coffee and sweets to snacks and main dishes. All food will be halal, ensuring it’s suitable for all attendees. Plus, food trucks will be contributing to the new Salam High School, which is currently being built.

In addition to delicious food, the festival will feature fun games like cornhole, Jenga, and ladder toss, organized by the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. There will also be religious lectures, henna tattoos, and other activities. Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available, with heat lamps and fire pits keeping outdoor guests warm.

For families with special needs, there will be fast passes and respite care rooms, thanks to a partnership with MUHSEN. To make sure your needs are met, you can fill out request forms online before the event.
