JuJu Watkins had an impressive night, leading USC to a 71-60 victory against No. 1 UCLA. This was another great game in her strong sophomore season.

Watkins, a 6-foot-2 guard, entered the matchup averaging 23.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. In this game, she scored an incredible 38 points, almost outscoring UCLA by herself. Only one other Trojan, Kiki Iriafen, hit double digits with 11 points. Watkins also recorded a double-double, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out five assists.
She quickly became a standout player in her freshman year, averaging 27.1 points per game. While her numbers have slightly dipped this season, she remains a top contender for Player of the Year. Her performance against UCLA further solidified her status as a favorite.
