Jung Ho-yeon, the talented star of “Squid Game,” has signed an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment. The company expressed excitement about her potential, stating they look forward to supporting her growth both in South Korea and internationally.
Founded in 2006 by actor Lee Byung-hun and his manager, BH Entertainment aims to nurture its artists carefully. Jung first gained fame in 2011 as a contestant on “Korea’s Next Top Model” Season 2. She quickly became a top model, walking for major fashion brands and featuring in global campaigns. Her acting career took off with her standout role as Kang Sae-byeok in the hit Netflix series “Squid Game,” which sparked a worldwide following known as the “Jung Ho-yeon syndrome.”
Jung made history by being the first Korean actress to win Best Actress at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards and was also nominated for a Supporting Actress award at the 74th Emmy Awards. Recently, she completed filming for the movie “Hope,” directed by Na Hong-jin. Viewers are also looking forward to seeing her in the upcoming Apple TV+ drama “Disclaimer,” where she plays Ji-soo, the assistant to a character portrayed by Cate Blanchett.
