What’s the Movie About?
The film follows Siddharth, a structural engineer in Bengaluru, who is in love with Nirupama, a rising model. He’s not interested in marriage or kids, which complicates everything. On the other hand, we meet Shriya, an architect in Chennai, who is preparing to marry her boyfriend, Karan. But as fate would have it, Siddharth and Shriya meet, and romance blossoms unexpectedly.
Performances:
Nithya Menen shines as a strong, independent woman unwilling to conform to societal expectations about marriage. Her performance is genuine and refreshing. Ravi Mohan surprises us with his cool, confident demeanor, easily stepping into his role. The supporting cast adds depth, from Mano’s laid-back dad to Lal’s warm portrayal of a single parent. Vinay Rai breaks free from his typical villain roles and embraces a lighter character, while Yogi Babu, as always, brings some laughs, despite a few awkward jokes. Vinodhini Vaidyanathan is hilarious, and it feels like Lakshmi Ramakrishnan deserved a bigger role.
