Clarksville, TN – Beachaven Vineyards & Winery recently kicked off Summerfest at Beachaven, a lively multi-day event filled with DJs, food trucks, live music, and fun activities.
Abigail Scurlock, who serves wine smoothies, described the festival’s purpose. “It’s a five-day celebration from Thursday to Monday, marking the end of the school year and the start of summer,” she shared.
Saturday was a hit with jazz performances by Jamaine Pitts and tunes from Tristan Straley and Britt Dignan’s Writer’s Circle. Attendees enjoyed flavorful dishes from local food trucks like Kadi’s Tacos and Brutha’s BBQ.
<p“Tomorrow (Sunday), we’ll host the Children’s Entrepreneurial Market,” Scurlock said. “We’ll have 40 to 50 kid-run businesses and live music by Lacy Green. Food trucks Sizzle Grill and Monster Cone will be serving up great bites. The festival will wrap up on Monday with Brittany Moore performing and food from Windy City Vibes.”
Scurlock also noted, “We kicked off our season in April with Summerfest. Later this year, we’ll have Harvest Fest in August and Halloween Fest in October. Throughout the year, we plan weekly live music and special events like DJ on the Dock and Dinner with the Trucks.”
