Lady Gaga recently wowed everyone with her appearance on “Hot Ones.”
On this episode, she tackled the infamous “wings of death” while keeping her cool. The only sign of struggle was a playful giggle.
What stood out was how this self-described “fashion-impaired” star navigated the spicy challenge. She managed to devour the fiery wings with one hand, the other adorned by her sparkling engagement ring. Amazingly, not a drop of sauce landed on her striking beige outfit, which could easily have been mistaken for an art piece.
During her chat with host Sean Evans, Lady Gaga opened up about her love for music. She fondly remembered her early days in New York City, hustling to find gigs.
“I look back at that time so fondly,” she recalled, referring to a performance at the Slipper Room on the Lower East Side. “My whole day was spent trying to get those gigs.”
She shared how she would even knock on club doors, asking to perform. “I’d say, ‘Can I please play here?’”
Sometimes, she got creative with her approach, pretending to be her own manager on the phone. “I would say, ‘She’s so hot right now,’” she laughed. “I would do anything to get booked.”
Lady Gaga emphasized that her journey to fame hasn’t been easy. There were moments when she considered stepping away from it all.
“I was tested, but I never gave up,” she said. “I’m still here, which means I want to keep going.”
All her efforts have truly paid off. Gaga has released six chart-topping albums, performed a Las Vegas residency, and won an Oscar in 2019.
Fans can look forward to her upcoming album, “Mayhem,” set to release on March 7.
