Lauren Graham Accidentally Unveils Surprising Father of ‘Parenthood’ Star Mae Whitman’s Baby!

Big news in the world of Mae Whitman! Recently, her onscreen mom, Lauren Graham, revealed the identity of the father of Mae’s baby boy, Miles. This tidbit came up during a chat with Dax Shepard on his podcast, Armchair Expert.

While reminiscing about their time together on the show Parenthood, Graham mentioned, “Carlos, her baby daddy, is on Broadway in Hadestown.” Carlos Valdes plays a significant role in the musical and has been making waves with his performance. Graham went on to share that Mae and Carlos are currently in New York, and Mae has a new job in Ireland with the baby.

Valdes, who recently became a dad, has been balancing fatherhood with his Broadway career. He spoke about the challenges of being a new parent, stating, “Being a Broadway dad… it’s not for the faint of heart! This life is pretty unforgiving when it comes to balancing it with parenting.”

In August, Mae announced the arrival of her son, Miles, who is named after her Parenthood co-star, Miles Heizer. Although she didn’t initially reveal who the father was, Mae made a sweet announcement, saying, “Not to be a Bieber about it, but I too just gave birth to our son.” She described baby Miles as “the kindest, gentlest, smartest, funniest little baby” and her family’s best friend.

Mae expresses deep gratitude for the support they’ve received, thanking the healthcare team who assisted her during the birth. She closed her announcement with overwhelming joy, saying, “We love you! We’re so happy!”
