In a surprising turn of events, El Chadaille Bitshiabu, a young defender for Leipzig, was absent from the team’s Bundesliga match against Augsburg. The reason? He missed the bus. Coach Marco Rose shared that Bitshiabu was supposed to travel with the squad but didn’t arrive in time for the morning departure.

“Chad missed the departure this morning and therefore the flight,” Rose explained. This meant he couldn’t join the team for the match. Interestingly, Leipzig is only about four hours away from Augsburg by road, and the game started later in the day. So, there was a possibility that Bitshiabu could have traveled by bus if necessary.
