Fans of Married At First Sight were disappointed with Adrian Araouzou and Sierah Swepstone’s cheating storyline in a recent episode. However, there’s more drama ahead. Rumor has it that another bride is about to spark even bigger scandal this season.
According to Daily Mail, Jacqui Burfoot, 29, has become involved with Clint Rice, one of this year’s intruder grooms at 45. Clint is supposed to marry returning bride Lauren Hall in an upcoming episode. Jacqui’s partner, Ryan Donnelly, reportedly felt “blindsided” by this affair, which has thrown the show into chaos.
“Producers are livid. This completely ruins Clint and Lauren’s wedding episode,” a source revealed. “Viewers haven’t even seen them get married yet, and now they know Clint ends up with Jacqui.”
Insiders say Jacqui and Clint grew close towards the end of filming but didn’t start dating until after the season wrapped. Unlike other cheating scandals of the past, this couple seems to be thriving. In fact, Jacqui has quit her job, left Sydney, and is now living with Clint in Tasmania.
“They’re not hiding their relationship at all. They’ve been sharing their romance on social media,” a source shared. “The rest of the cast knows about it, and Jacqui has effectively been iced out.”
Fans can expect a shock at the reunion when Jacqui and Clint appear together, reminiscent of Ellie Dix and Jono McCullough from last season.
As for Jacqui and Ryan, it seems they’re done for good. Recently, Jacqui shared on Instagram that she is now in a happy relationship. She described her new partner as “kind, considerate, and intelligent” — everything she hoped for.
Interestingly, a fan reported meeting Ryan at a party in Sydney. They danced and flirted before Ryan reached out to her on Instagram from a different account. This fan now believes Ryan may no longer be with Jacqui.
