“Makar Shines with 6 Points While Avalanche Dominates Sharks: Highlights of the Nelson Trade Saga”

DENVER — The Avalanche had a thrilling night, scoring seven goals against the struggling Sharks. While this was happening, Colorado’s front office was busy making a significant trade.

In a stunning move, the Avalanche acquired center Brock Nelson from the New York Islanders. They sent over Calum Ritchie and a first-round draft pick in return.

One of the best moments of the game came with just 2.1 seconds left in the first period. The Avalanche strung together an incredible series of quick passes, culminating in Drouin scoring a power-play goal from the setup of MacKinnon, Necas, and Lehkonen.
