Joshua Corn and William Cooley represented the Lions at the 2025 NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships in Federal Way, Washington. Both athletes competed in their events on Saturday, showcasing their skills on a national stage.
Corn swam in the 200 breaststroke, finishing 29th with a time of 1:52.89, just shy of his personal best. He also took part in the trials for the 100 breaststroke, where he landed in 41st place. Cooley competed in platform diving, coming in 43rd with a score of 223.75.
Head Diving Coach Scott Donie expressed pride in their performance, saying, “We had an outstanding experience here at the NCAA’s. It wasn’t our day in the competition, but it’s an absolute honor to represent Columbia on the biggest stage in collegiate diving and we will be back!"
