Mike Myers’ Hilarious ‘SNL’ Cameo as Elon Musk Takes Aim at Trump-Zelenskyy Meeting: ‘Donald, What Are You Doing in My Office?’

Last night, “Saturday Night Live” took a comedic look at the recent clash between Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This was the show’s first episode after the big “SNL50” special. Trump, played by James Austin Johnson, and Vice President JD Vance, played by Bowen Yang, mocked Zelenskyy, portrayed by Mikey Day.

One surprise guest was Elon Musk, played by Mike Myers, who returned to “SNL” for the first time since 2015. He had appeared briefly in the “SNL50” special but this marked his comeback in a regular episode.

The sketch kicked off with a funny voiceover introducing the press conference between Trump and Zelenskyy. It joked that the meeting went perfectly and made everyone feel safer.

As Trump opened the skit, he boasted, “It is I, president of Gaza Hotel and Casino, Donald Trump. Welcome, Zelenskyy! We’re going to trap you soon, right?” He then made a dig at Zelenskyy’s appearance, comparing it to a “Star Trek” character.

Just when Zelenskyy tried to respond, Vance interrupted, demanding more gratitude. “You haven’t said thank you to us even once!” he yelled. Trump chimed in about their matching ties and claimed that they were too good-looking to be ignored.

Then, Vance added, “I’ve seen Ukraine on Google Maps, and it’s a mess. You’re not getting any money from us after that outburst!”

Myers, as Elon Musk, entered in a T-shirt and jeans, which led to hilarious hypocrisy from Trump, who called Musk’s outfit “official.” Musk joked back, asking if he knew he was now the president before launching into absurd comments about government firings.

As the sketch continued, Musk’s fictional aide, “Big Balls,” boasted about their recent firings. They even introduced a new initiative called DOUCHE, aimed at drastically cutting education and childcare programs, which added to the humor.

The sketch wrapped up with a nod to the week’s news about the “Epstein Files.” Trump excitedly mentioned the upcoming release, teasing viewers that they would only see names from A to S, skipping T.

This episode marked Shane Gillis’s second time hosting “SNL.” He previously hosted about a year ago after a controversial past that led to his original firing from the cast. Gillis has made a name for himself in comedy, with his special “Beautiful Dogs” and his podcast gaining popularity.

This week’s “SNL” was also notable for its big ratings boost from the “SNL50” special. The show saw a significant increase in viewers, reaching about 14.8 million during the anniversary celebration. As for next week, Lady Gaga will return as both host and musical guest, marking her second time in each role.
