Mallorie Hollenbeck has won a $10,000 scholarship from the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA), sponsored by Cox Automotive. This prestigious award recognizes her hard work and dedication to automotive marketing and management at Northwood University.
Hollenbeck, hailing from Midland, Michigan, excels both academically and in real-world automotive experiences. She has worked at local dealerships and is currently gaining valuable insights at Dow in Midland. Her commitment doesn’t stop there; Hollenbeck has also participated in the Northwood University International Auto Show, which is the largest student-led outdoor car show in North America.
Elgie Bright, Chair of Automotive Marketing and Management, praises Mallorie, stating, “She embodies what our programs aim to develop. Her professional experiences and engagement in the industry set her apart.” This hands-on learning approach prepares students like Hollenbeck to lead in the automotive world.
In 2024, Mallorie was part of the Chevy Performance Team and will captain the team for the next two years at the upcoming auto show scheduled for September 18-20, 2026, in Midland.
