Last season, Daniels led the Commanders to their first NFC Championship game since 1991. But currently, the team sits at 3-6 after four consecutive losses. If the situation doesn’t improve, Marcus Mariota may need to step in as quarterback.
When Daniels was slow to get up after the injury, the focus shifted from the game to his long-term health. “You just don’t want to see that happen,” said offensive guard Sam Cosmi, who expressed his concern for his teammate during that tense moment.
