A winter travel advisory is in effect today.
What’s Happening:
You may face reduced visibility due to heavy snow and blowing snow. Expect between 6 to 12 cm of snowfall, with the heaviest falling at rates of 2 to 4 cm per hour. The snow is expected to hit this morning and continue through the afternoon.
A band of lake-effect snow will enter the area this morning. After a brief pause, more snow will come this afternoon before clearing up by evening.
Motorists should be very cautious and consider postponing any non-essential travel until conditions improve. Walking and driving could be tricky, so stay alert and take your time on the roads.
