In 2025, there were whispers that Rodgers delayed his signing until minicamp to dodge potential questions about his absence from voluntary OTAs. If he signs this year before minicamp, he still has to think about those OTAs that follow.
Rodgers is already familiar with coach Mike McCarthy’s offense and most of his teammates. It’s possible he might choose to stay out of sight until training camp in July, allowing him to prepare without the added scrutiny of offseason activities.
