Grand Junction, CO — Colorado Mesa University (CMU) has exciting news about a new program in partnership with Timberline Bank called “Round-Up for Rowdy.” This initiative aims to support local students by turning everyday transactions into meaningful contributions.
Here’s how it works: when customers at Timberline Bank choose to participate, their debit card purchases get rounded up to the nearest dollar. The extra change is then donated to the CMU Century Scholarship. This scholarship helps Mesa County students access higher education.
“We’re proud to partner with Colorado Mesa University,” said Louise Goodman, Grand Junction Branch President at Timberline Bank. “Round-Up for Rowdy lets our customers’ everyday spending make a big impact on educational opportunities.”
The CMU Century Scholarship is part of the CMU Promise, which covers tuition costs for Colorado families earning under $70,000 a year. This scholarship aims to bridge the gap in making education more accessible for local students.
John Marshall, President of CMU, shared, “For a century, our community has shaped Colorado Mesa University. This program showcases that collaboration. Thanks to Timberline Bank, small purchases can lead to significant investments in student futures.”
Joining Round-Up for Rowdy is easy and free for Timberline Bank account holders. This partnership reflects a strong commitment to supporting local education and fostering the Maverick spirit in Western Colorado.
