DOTHAN, Ala. — A 16-year-old male suspect was arrested on Friday morning in connection with a recent shooting incident at Troy University. This arrest follows an event that took place on Saturday, August 30, where a female student was injured by gunfire near the Trojan Fitness Center.

Local law enforcement, including the Troy University Police Department and the City of Troy Police Department, worked together to apprehend the suspect, whose name hasn’t been released due to his age.
