In a thrilling night of CAA men’s basketball, road teams enjoyed a 4-3 split with plenty of exciting comebacks.

Delaware 84, Stony Brook 74
Niels Lane shone for Delaware, scoring 20 points and grabbing nine rebounds. He helped his team improve to 10-8 overall and 3-2 in CAA play. John Camden added 19 points and nine rebounds. The Blue Hens shot 50% from the floor, leading them to victory.

Stony Brook had a momentary lead in the first half, but Delaware fought back and led 39-37 at halftime. They pulled away in the second half, thanks to a 12-2 run, and held a solid lead for the rest of the game. Joe Octave scored 23 for Stony Brook, while CJ Luster added 20 points.

Charleston 67, Campbell 61
Derrin Boyd played a crucial role for Charleston, scoring eight points in a row when it mattered most. His back-to-back threes helped the Cougars secure a win against Campbell, improving their record to 14-4, 4-1 in CAA play.

Campbell initially led but faltered as Charleston made its comeback. Boyd’s late-game heroics, along with contributions from teammates Deywilk Tavarez and Lazar Djokovic, propelled the Cougars to victory. Colby Duggan was outstanding for Campbell with 21 points.

Elon 65, Drexel 54
Sam Sherry led the way for Elon with 19 points and nine rebounds. Elon maintained a steady lead throughout the game against Drexel, who struggled to keep pace.

Drexel made a push late but couldn’t overcome the Phoenix, who had extra support from Nick Dorn and TK Simpkins, each adding 15 points. Kobe MaGee led Drexel with 17 points.

Towson 65, Hofstra 60
Towson made a remarkable comeback after trailing by 18 points earlier in the game. They clamped down on defense, limiting Hofstra’s shooting in the second half.

Dylan Williamson’s three-pointer in the final minute put Towson ahead, along with clutch free throw shooting to seal the win. Tyler Tejada was the top scorer for Towson with 16 points.

UNCW 80, Northeastern 72
UNCW closed the game strong, finishing with a 12-5 run to secure a win over Northeastern. LA Pratt led all scorers with 22 points, helping his team bounce back after falling behind in the first half.

Sean Moore and Noah Ross also contributed significantly to the Seahawks’ scoring effort, while Northeastern’s Jahnathan Lamothe led with 22 points.

William & Mary 67, Hampton 64
Matteus Case was a standout for William & Mary, scoring 18 points and making critical plays in the closing moments.

Despite a rough start, William & Mary rallied to maintain their unbeaten record in conference play. Noah Farrakhan was pivotal for Hampton with 15 points.

Monmouth 72, North Carolina A&T 63
Abdi Bashir Jr. led Monmouth with 21 points, ensuring his team never fell behind in their win over North Carolina A&T.

Monmouth built an early lead but faced a push from the Aggies. However, they regained control and finished strong. Jahnathan Lamothe had a solid game for North Carolina A&T, scoring 22 points.
