Britain’s Hamzah Sheeraz has made headlines by winning his first world title. He achieved this with a quick second-round stoppage against Alem Begic in Egypt, claiming the vacant WBO super-middleweight crown.

Sheeraz expressed his admiration for Alvarez, calling him “boxing royalty.” He stated, “I aim to follow their path. If Canelo wins, it’s up to him. Sharing the ring with him would be an honor, and I believe I could win.”
Earlier in the night, Jack Catterall also impressed, winning the WBA ‘regular’ welterweight belt after a clear victory over unbeaten fighter Shakhram Giyasov.
