Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known as the vibrant drag performer Jiggly Caliente, passed away peacefully at 44, surrounded by family. Her family shared the news in a heartfelt Instagram post.

This loss comes shortly after they revealed that Jiggly was facing serious health challenges. She had been hospitalized due to a severe infection and underwent surgery that resulted in the loss of most of her right leg.
Jiggly first stepped into the spotlight on Season 4 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2012, where she quickly became a fan favorite, known for her humor and dance moves. She later returned for “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” Season 6, finishing in 12th place.
Beyond reality TV, she served as a judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines” for three seasons and was set to appear in the upcoming “Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale.” Jiggly also showcased her talent as Veronica Ferocity in the series “Pose,” a drama set in 1980s New York City.
Her family described her as a radiant presence in entertainment and advocacy. “Jiggly Caliente was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and authenticity,” they stated. “She touched countless lives through her artistry and the genuine connections she created with fans worldwide.”
Fans and friends are deeply mourning her loss. Fellow “Drag Race” star Jackie Cox expressed her sorrow, calling it devastating. Another star, Jujubee, shared a touching tribute, saying, “I will miss you so much, my sister. I love you, Jiggly. Rest in peace.”
