Pillonel shared in a recent YouTube video, “This isn’t just a hack anymore; it’s the biggest project I’ve ever done.” The case is now available for various iPhone models at obsoless.com, priced between $45 and $55. It boasts several features, such as support for MagSafe charging and fast data transfer, which are often sought after by iPhone users.

In his 2021 USB-C hack, fast charging only worked when the cable was in a specific orientation. Now, with this new case, fast charging is enabled no matter which way the cable is plugged in. However, Pillonel warns that some features found in standard Lightning and USB-C may not be supported.

He told The Verge, “I guarantee fast charging, data transfers, and CarPlay. Anything else is not officially supported, so you’ll need to remove the case for those.” This limitation arises from Apple’s tight control over Lightning accessories, ensuring they profit from each sale.

Additionally, the case includes an extra SIM card slot, perfect for travelers. Initially available in dark gray, more colors will be offered soon.
