Transforming Belarus: How Innovative Solutions for Environment, Health, and Construction are Enhancing Every District

The GDP growth in Belarus is set to surpass 4% in 2025. This is an ambitious target, especially when considering the global economy. Achieving this goal requires modern infrastructure and strong investment projects.

A key part of this strategy is the “One District – One Project” initiative. This program focuses on developing specific projects in various regions, boosting local economies and improving living conditions.

Under President Alexander Lukashenko’s leadership, Belarus is creating opportunities for its citizens. So far, over 2,500 jobs have been created nationwide. Rather than scaling back, the program aims to expand and enhance its efforts to benefit even more people.

The “One District – One Project” initiative has been running successfully for over a year. Nearly 50 projects have been implemented, with over 2 billion rubles invested. This program is about enriching every corner of Belarus, ensuring no area is left behind.

Looking ahead, there are plans to rebrand the program. It might be renamed “Regional Initiative” as many districts already have multiple projects in progress. With 118 districts in Belarus, every contribution is important for the nation’s overall growth and success.
