Pam Bondi is no longer serving as the U.S. Attorney General, according to President Donald Trump’s announcement on Truth Social. This change marks the second significant shake-up in his cabinet within a month. Todd Blanche, the Deputy Attorney General, will take over temporarily.
In his post, Trump praised Bondi as a “Great American Patriot” who served faithfully over the past year. He noted that during her tenure, violent crime rates in the U.S. decreased, mirroring a broader trend following the COVID-19 pandemic.
