Clear Guidelines for Game Decisions
We understand that consistency is key, especially as we expand globally. This update clarifies how to handle game rewinds and decision changes. Here’s what you need to know:
- Players can change a decision after taking an action.
- Judges can issue a rewind under certain conditions.
- When a rewind occurs, the game state will revert to the moment before the action.
This clarity helps both players and judges know what to expect, making the game smoother.
Updates to the Penalty System
We’ve refined the penalties to enhance fairness. The key updates include:
- Penalties for facedown card errors.
- Rules for drawing extra cards.
- A new approach for forgetting to Ready during the Awaken Phase.
- Changes to decklist presentation errors.

We’ve noticed some creative strategies regarding recycling runes to track floating energy. While it’s clever, it sometimes leads to errors, like paying costs incorrectly. Going forward, recycled cards should go straight to the bottom of the right deck.
