I was a huge fan of the Harry Potter series and Percy Jackson before I discovered this gem thanks to a friend’s suggestion. From the moment I opened the first book, I was hooked. The story is full of surprising twists, and every clue keeps you guessing about who the real murderer could be.
The first book centers on a girl named Pip. She decides to investigate an old murder case—the death of Andie Bell. While it seemed like a clear-cut case with Andie’s boyfriend, Sal Singh, as the culprit, Pip senses that something is off. As she digs deeper, the story unfolds with shocking revelations that kept me on the edge of my seat.
The second book, Good Girl, Bad Blood, takes a different turn. Pip is tired of getting involved in dangerous investigations, but when a friend asks for help finding his missing brother, she can’t resist. It’s a gripping continuation of her journey.
The third installment, As Good As Dead, is the most intense. Pip now faces her own danger with a stalker on her trail, leaving her chilling clues to follow. You become so invested in Pip’s story that you find yourself worrying about her with every page turn. While the final twist is a bit easier to figure out, it still delivers an emotional ride.
This series is among the best murder mysteries I’ve ever read. Each book pulls you into its world, and you’ll be guessing until the last chapter. The third book was particularly gripping; it sent shivers down my spine and kept me up late as I read.
