In addition to the confirmed cases, 44 other people have reported symptoms similar to salmonella after dining at the restaurant. However, these incidents have not been confirmed through lab tests yet.
At this point, there is no specific food item identified as the source of the outbreak. To ensure safety, Hamilton Public Health ordered Piper Arms Stoney Creek to temporarily close on April 13, 2026. This measure will help with the ongoing investigation and protect public health.
