US authorities have temporarily barred green-card holders from entering the country if they’ve traveled to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Uganda, or South Sudan within the last 21 days. This order aims to keep Ebola from entering the US.
Earlier, a travel ban only affected non-citizens from these regions. However, this new directive includes lawful permanent residents due to concerns about public health.
