Fans are excited for Ajith Kumar’s new film, Vidaamuyarchi. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, it will also feature Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Vijay Ramya. The Tamil Nadu government has even allowed special morning shows starting at 9 AM.

This action-drama takes place in Azerbaijan and has music by Anirudh Ravichander, who is known for hits in films like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Darbar. Vidaamuyarchi has received a U/A rating from the CBFC and is expected to make around Rs 40 crore on its opening day.

Originally set to release in January 2025, Vidaamuyarchi was delayed. The movie has a budget of Rs 200 crore, with Ajith Kumar reportedly earning between Rs 110 and 120 crore. Advance bookings have already sold around 4-8 lakh tickets for approximately 5863 shows, totaling Rs 8.86 crore in sales.

Ajith Kumar’s last film was Thunivu in 2023. He didn’t release any films in 2024. After Vidaamuyarchi, he is also scheduled to appear in Good Bad Ugly, which is set for an April release.
