‘Why couldn’t arrangements be made’, CM Naidu reprimands officials after stampede in Tirupati

Tirupati Temple Stampede: Six folks have died in a stampede at Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh. 40 persons are injured in the accident. State CM Chandrababu Naidu has reviewed this accident with DGP, TTD EO, District Collector, SP. CM mentioned, “The loss of lives of devotees who had come to see God is very sad. I am deeply saddened by this incident in Tirupati.”

CM’s anger on officials

CM Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his displeasure with the officials relating to this accident. He has reprimanded the officials for not implementing precautionary measures. The CM questioned that when it was recognized that numerous devotees would come, why might they not make arrangements accordingly.
