WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State women’s basketball team secured their third straight victory with a solid 82-49 win over Augustana.

By the end of the first quarter, Winona State had a comfortable 20-8 lead, thanks to their impressive 57.1% shooting and a dominant presence on the boards, grabbing 15 rebounds compared to the Vikings’ 3.

In the second quarter, the Warriors kept pushing. They made five three-pointers and held Augustana to just three field goals. At halftime, Winona State was ahead 39-17, with a lead that reached 24 points.
