Amazon has shared the first look at Fallout season 2, and fans are excited to see New Vegas, a beloved location from Fallout: New Vegas. While we don’t get a full view of the city yet, we glimpse some familiar characters.
The new stills show Lucy (Ella Purnell) and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins) in the Mojave wasteland. Maximus (Aaron Moten) remains involved with the Brotherhood of Steel after getting separated from Lucy in the last season. Norm (Moisés Arias) is still in the Vault, looking out at Vault 31—likely not a good sign given the events of the previous season. Meanwhile, Hank MacLean (Kyle McLachlan) seems to be up to no good again after distancing himself from Lucy.
Two intriguing pictures depict the Ghoul’s life as Cooper Howard before the war, highlighting his relationship with his wife, Barb (Frances Turner). These flashbacks will likely delve into Cooper’s discovery of Vault-Tec’s role in the nuclear conflict, offering a look at old Las Vegas before it became New Vegas.
Fans of the games know how Vegas managed to escape major destruction due to the efforts of Robert House. Post-war, Vegas transforms into New Vegas, ruled by three factions—the Chairmen, the Omertas, and the White Glove Society—under Mr. House’s control from the Lucky 38 casino.
This season promises a rich exploration of both pre- and post-war Vegas. Fallout is set to showcase more details during Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, and it will return to Prime Video this December.
Exciting times are ahead for Fallout fans! Keep an eye out for the latest updates from trusted sources like Variety and Entertainment Weekly.
