Nomad has just updated its Stand One and Stand One Max hubs to support the new Qi2.2 standard. This means faster wireless charging—up to 25W—for compatible smartphones like the Pixel 10 Pro XL and the iPhone 16 and 17 series.
Both models maintain their sleek design, featuring a blend of glass and CNC-machined aluminum, offering durability alongside style. A braided USB-C cable is included, but you’ll need to provide your own 40W USB-C charger. This approach is intentional; Nomad wants to reduce waste by encouraging users to utilize existing power adapters they may already own.
The updated Stand One is now priced at $119 and comes in silver or carbide colors. At just over 1.2 pounds, it offers a new feature: a second wireless charging pad on its base. This pad is designed to charge AirPods and other compatible headphones at 5W.
Meanwhile, the Stand One Max is available for $159, also in silver or carbide. This model has improved its design, allowing users to charge their smartphones horizontally while simultaneously charging an Apple Watch. The previous version had a design flaw that prevented this. The Stand One Max also retains the earbud charging feature from its predecessor, with a designated spot for Qi-compatible earbud cases for 5W charging.
