Grand Canyon Dominates Nevada in Volleyball Showdown
Grand Canyon University (GCU) powered through a rough start to triumph over Nevada, winning 3–1 in a thrilling match. The Lopes lost the first set but rebounded strongly, winning the next three sets 25–21, 25–18, and 26–24.

Currently, GCU is tied for fourth place with Boise State but stands fifth due to tiebreakers. With only six teams making the tournament, each match is critical. Potts expressed confidence, noting how much the team has grown since facing Colorado State and Wyoming at the season’s start. “We’re hungry for the playoffs,” she said, underscoring the urgency and excitement as the regular season wraps up.
