A new pilot program is set to launch for mobile food vendors in the Twin Ports area. The Duluth Economic Development Authority (DEDA) is offering these vendors the chance to get a free commercial operator’s permit for this summer. The initiative aims to help vendors increase their visibility and connect with the community while operating in Duluth’s parks. Up to six food trucks or other mobile vendors will be awarded these free permits, which will be valid from May through October 2026.
