Discover the Future: DRDO Unveils Innovative Technologies and Aatmanirbhar Bharat Initiatives at Mega Exhibition in Motihari, Bihar!

New Delhi, April 13 (ANI) — The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is gearing up for a major exhibition in Motihari, Bihar, from April 15 to 18. The event will showcase innovative technologies and advancements that support India’s vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ or self-reliant India.

Radha Mohan Singh, a Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence, will open the exhibition. Its theme, “Shanti, Satya Aur Vigyan Ka Sangam – Surakshit Aur Aatmanirbhar Bharat Ki Aur,” reflects a commitment to peace, truth, and science.

The exhibition will feature a variety of impressive defense systems. Attendees can expect to see the Airborne Early Warning and Control System, the Akash Surface-to-Air Missile, and the BrahMos Missile, among others. There will also be advanced models like the Prithvi Missile and the NAG Anti-Tank Guided Missile. In addition, the new generation Akash-NG Missile launcher and sophisticated artillery systems will demonstrate DRDO’s technological prowess.

Experts emphasize the importance of such exhibitions. According to Dr. Anil Gupta, a defense analyst, “Events like this not only showcase capabilities but also inspire innovation in the younger generation.” This inspiration is essential for fostering future talent in defense technology.

Surveys reveal that public interest in defense technology is growing. A recent poll found that over 60% of young people want to pursue careers in STEM fields, including defense technology. This aligns with DRDO’s goal of attracting youth to its initiatives.

The exhibition also aims to highlight other interesting technologies, such as drone detection radars and advanced armor systems. Innovations in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense will be part of the showcase too, emphasizing India’s commitment to national security.

This event is more than just a display; it’s an opportunity for citizens to engage with the strides being made in their country’s defense capabilities. By fostering this connection, DRDO hopes to build a strong foundation for future advancements.
