Google is adding new AI features to Search, including information agents, generative UI tools and persistent custom dashboards or trackers. The changes are tied to Gemini 3.5 models, Gemini 3.5 Flash and Google Antigravity, and are being positioned as part of a more “agentic” Search experience.
Information agents are personalised AI agents that users can set up to work in the background, 24/7, to find what they need and help them take action. They are rolling out this summer, starting with Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.
Google is also bringing agentic coding capabilities into Search. With the power of Gemini 3.5 Flash and Google Antigravity, Search will build custom experiences for individual questions, including dynamic layouts and interactive visuals. These generative UI capabilities will be available for everyone in Search this summer, free of charge.
For longer tasks, Search will be able to build persistent, custom dashboards or trackers that users can return to and continue working on. Google says these can be thought of as mini apps for specific tasks. Users will be able to build custom experiences with Antigravity, right in Search, in the coming months, starting first for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the U.S.
