I’m really happy for him because he’s the kind of player who always looks to pass to a teammate in a better position. You could see that in the match against Villa when he assisted Darwin Nunez. It’s great for a humble player like him to finally score. His hard work and commitment to the team really shine through, and he definitely deserves this moment. I believe he was the Man of the Match, and that recognition is well-earned. I’ve always appreciated his efforts, but it’s nice to see others noticing him too, especially when people focus on goals and assists.
Midfielders are stepping up…
Our midfielders have definitely improved. If I said otherwise, I’d be kidding myself. They’ve put in so much effort, and it shows in how well the team plays together. Wearing the Liverpool shirt means you should score goals, especially for those who play as No. 10 or No. 8. While sometimes it’s not required, today we really needed them to contribute to the scoreline, and they did just that.
Watching from the stands…
It was a mix of feelings. Watching from the stands is less emotional and gives you a better overall view of the game. However, there’s also the downside of seeing replays. Given my suspension, I know I can get a bit too emotional about certain calls! Still, it was a fantastic team effort.
Wataru Endo stands out…
I have a lot of respect for Wataru Endo, both as a player and a person. He’s always ready to step up, no matter how many minutes he gets on the pitch. What truly sets him apart is his dedication. Many players struggle to train hard after not getting much playing time, but not him. No matter the day, he gives his all in training. When the team needs him, he always delivers. His performance today was yet another example of that commitment.
